Today, I want to tell you about the Porsche 911’s secret rally history and, specifically, the Safari Rally that inspired our Ideal build.
Let’s take a blast to the past and go through a quick history of electric vehicles. This is the history of the electric car!
There’s a ton of car brands out there, and these days, it’s tough to tell who’s making quality and who’s making crap. We’ve ranked all the major car brands from worst to best and put them in this list!
Unlike the 918 Spyder, not all Porsche’s are selling for over $800,000. In fact, I’m about to tell you about some Porsches that are totally affordable! These are the best cheap Porsche models you can afford!
Okay, I'm just going to say it, the 996 generation, out of all the generations is the worst 911 ever built! Now, this is an ideal car, but man, there are some things that I absolutely dislike. See, the 996 and the Boxster were the "transition cars", the cars to transition Porsche from acting like a boutique marque, and to move along to more efficient logistics and manufacturing processes.
I bet you didnt know that Volkswagen Group has actually owned 100% of Porsche since 2012, that Tata Motors, an Indian company, owns the reliably unreliable Land Rover, or that McLaren owns... well, McLaren! Who owns the world's most popular car brands here in the USA is about as clear as mud, like the kind you can slide through in your Rolls-Royce (which is owned by BMW). Wait... that's got to be a mistake... there’s no way BMW owns the British icon Rolls-Royce! Are you kidding me? Well, guess what, it's the truth. I’m going to dig into the 12 automaker parent companies and which brands are under their care. This is going to be a fun one. And by the end of this article, you might be surprised who actually made your car!
Ever wonder which brands are putting out the most horsepower? Of course, we all know what the most powerful cars on the planet are: your Bugattis, your Koenigseggs, etc. But we took the horsepower of every vehicle in every brands 2020 lineups, and added them up! Vans and semis excluded of course… And after a whole lot of math that made my head spin, we figured out which brands put out the most power in 2020. So, hold onto your seats, because these are the brands with the most horsepower in 2020 in order of least to greatest!
Supercars: the cars of our dreams. Cars that make a statement everywhere they go. For most of us normies, they’re unattainable. With price tags in the six figures, we couldn’t ever imagine owning one. But why is that? What really separates them from your average sports car, and how is it that people are actually willing to pay these unbelievable prices?
