8 BEST Luxury Cars Under $15,000

Cadillac Pressroom

Want to roll around in a luxurious ride but don’t think you can afford it? Well, keep reading! Because I’m going to tell you about 8 amazing luxury vehicles that you can afford for under $15,000.

That’s right! These cars are powerful, stylish, and most of all… AFFORDABLE. The first car on our list is a typical transporter of CEOs and Bitcoin billionaires, and the last car on our list pushes the limits of luxury for less than $15,000.

You don’t need to be the richest of the rich to roll in style. Here are the BEST luxury cars under $15,000.

2015 Audi A3

Autoblog

You’ve probably seen this car being driven by high-end execs, rich moms, and young entrepreneurs alike, because the Audi A3 is definitely a top choice among those who like to drive in style and luxury. With its stylish design, it says, “I’ve got money but I don’t feel the need to throw it in your face.” But you don’t have to be a millionaire to afford one of these sleek machines. In fact, you could have a 2015 A3 for under $13,000 right now!

And while it looks impressive on the lot, it certainly won’t disappoint when you’ve got your hands on the wheel. The base model comes with a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine that revs up 170 horsepower, and the transmission is a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. If you choose to opt for a four-wheel drive, you’re going to up that engine to a 220-horsepower 2-liter turbo four. And the A3 handles the white stuff like a champ. On your way to work or to the supermarket you’ll be easily gliding around corners with super-responsive steering.

The 2015 model has also got some sweet tech features that come standard as well: a panoramic sunroof, WiFi hotspot connectivity, and a souped-up infotainment system that will keep you connected and directed as you’re rolling down the road. Definitely a great grab for that extremely low price.

2014 Cadillac CTS

YouTube

Now here’s a car that is just plain ridiculous value. For a tad under $15,000, you can have a super luxurious 2014 Cadillac CTS 2-liter turbo. That’s right, a 2-liter turbocharged engine that’s capable of generating 272 horsepower. If that’s not bang for your buck, I don’t know what is.

They also give you the option to go with the V-sport trim and drop a 3.6-liter twin-turbo in one of these bad boys that spits out 420 horsepower. Now if I were you, I’d go with the 3.6-liter twin-turbo if you’ve got the option. Because, well, who wouldn’t want more power under the hood.

And 2014 was a particularly good year for the CTS, with a gang of new features added on, not the least of which includes a whole new rework of their “Art and Science” exterior design language. This facelift puts the CTS in the same league stylistically as cars that go for much more money, like a Mercedes E-Class or a BMW 5-series.

And the interior of the CTS isn’t a feature to glance over either. The 2014 model was equipped with an all new CUE infotainment system, beautiful new plush leather lining, and a multitude of safety features to give you peace-of-mind while you’re cruising in comfort.

2014 BMW 3 Series 328i

CarGurus

The BMW 3 series features a wide range of models from sedans, to coupes, to hatchbacks, and more. But my personal choice in terms of a luxury vehicle that you can get for the low has got to be the 3-series 328i sedan. This is the most powerful car in the series, and has all that wonderful luxury that comes standard across all BMW 3-series cars.

First of all, the 328i’s got a 2-liter turbocharged I-4 that’s capable of mustering up 240 horsies, and it can be coupled with either a 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission depending on what your driving preference is. The manual transmission configuration gets a super solid 35 highway miles to the gallon while the automatic gets an equally impressive 34.

The entire 2014 3-series cars come with some sweet features on the inside as well, such as a sport leather steering wheel, Dark Burl Walnut interior trim, and BMW Assist eCall and Teleservices.

And the best part? You can have all of this power and internal luxury for the absurdly low price of $15,000. That’s a hell of a deal if you ask me.

2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8

Driving

When you think about luxury cars, Hyundai probably isn’t the first brand that comes to mind. But the Hyundai Genesis 3.8 is a real gem in the affordable luxury car class. With its super nice interior, confident and refined ride, and plenty of cabin space, this car is comfort and performance all wrapped up into one. And a used 2015 Genesis 3.8… under $14,000. Don’t ask me how they could afford to make such a luxurious and cool-looking car that could be sold for that price, but it’s real.

Don’t think about it too much. Just think about the fact that it comes standard with a 3.8-liter V6 that spits out 311 horsepower! Not enough power for you? You can upgrade that to an even more powerful 5-liter V8 that does 420 horsepower.

The V6 model comes with rear-wheel drive and gets 29 highway miles to the gallon, while the V8 comes with all-wheel drive and drops the gas mileage down to 24 highway miles, because, of course, that additional power’s going to come at a cost at the gas pump.

The Genesis 3.8 is responsible and reliable in terms of handling and acceleration, but still offers enough power for easy merging and passing on the highway. All around, this car is just a great drive. And at that price? What more could you want?

2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Car and Driver

What’s the best way to make people think you’re rolling in the dough? Get a whip with a big Mercedes-Benz logo on the front, obviously. And if you’re thinking that a Benzo is definitely out of your budget, we may have good news for you. You can find a 2010 E550 sedan for under $14,000. Dreams do come true sometimes, my friends.

And this car is far more than just an attractive logo, it’s got the specs to back up Mercedes-Benz’s excellent reputation for luxury. A 5.5-liter V8 that puts out 382 horsepower with seven-speed automatic transmission that gets 24 highway miles to the gallon. Not bad. Not bad at all.

You also get a sweet leather steering wheel that matches beautifully with the plush leather interior, and a navigation that gives you real-time traffic updates. And the tech features don’t stop there! We’re also talking about a voice control system (which was relatively new technology in 2010), Sirius Radio, and a Harman speaker with professional-grade sound quality. Let’s not forget, ladies and gentlemen, this is a Mercedes we’re talking about.

They also make a 4MATIC 4-wheel-drive version of the E550, but you may have to shell out a bit more than $14,000 for that one.

2012 Acura TL

YouTube

In terms of luxury cars, the Acura TL isn’t the most stylish or the swankiest car on our list, but when it comes to value? The TL delivers. You can get a used 2012 TL with under 100,000 miles for right around $13,000. And when you look at what this car’s got to offer, it’s obvious that you’re going to get good bang for your buck.

Plus, the savings are going to continue through this car’s entire lifespan, because the TL gets a fantastic 29 highway miles to the gallon. And the engine on this thing certainly isn’t wimpy. It’s got a 3.5-liter V6 under the hood that’s capable of revving up 280 ponies. But when your driving, you won’t even hear a purr out of that engine, because the TL has wonderfully low cabin noise whether you’re driving through the heart of New York City or on a Virginia interstate. And you’ll definitely be safe wherever you’re driving, because this ride’s got some top-of-the-line safety features like blind spot monitoring.

No, the TL doesn’t have the style of an Audi or a BMW, and it’s not quite as fun to drive as an Alfa Romeo or a Mercedes. But when it comes to value, the TL is a champ. Reliable, fuel-efficient, powerful, and comfortable, the Acura TL is a smart buy whichever way you look at it.

2012 Volvo S80 T6

Lincoln of Cincinnati

Looking for a super-safe sedan with good performance at a great price? The 2012 Volvo S80 T6 might just be your best bet. At just $13,500, the safety features you get for that price are just off-the-hook: Adaptive Cruise Control and a Collision Warning and Brake Support system that utilizes radar and sensors to make sure you never get in a crash. And if you do somehow end up in a crash, the S80 T6 has automatically-deployed inflatable side curtains, side impact airbags, and an anti-whiplash seating system. No wonder the 2012 model was an IIHS Top Safety Pick.

But this car’s not just safe, it’s got some awesome tech features that’re seriously impressive. It’s got a Queue Assist system for adaptive cruise control, not to mention a new and improved Bluetooth system that allows for streaming.

Unfortunately, the 2012 S80 still features Volvo’s older and less sleek design language, which kind of says “I’m a dad that wants to keep my kids safe on their way to school.” But newer models have a much more stylish look if you’re willing to spend a little more dough.

Overall, the S80 T6 is the best car on the list if you’re priority is safety. If style and performance are more your game, then you should probably look elsewhere.

2010 Lexus GS

Top Speed

Lexus is a name that people hear and immediately think “luxury”. And with good reason! They put out cars that are great for performance and always feature super swanky interiors. The 2010 Lexus GS probably isn’t the prettiest car that Lexus makes, but it’s definitely got all that quality that you’d expect out of a Lexus.

This car’s got a solid suspension that will last you your whole life, and it handles damn well too. It’s quick, reliable, and won’t ever feel hard to control. This car is at your beck and call. And don’t forget about that wonderful interior finish! Lexus spared no expense putting the finest-quality leather on their seats so that you can feel nice and comfy as you’re commuting to work or making a cross-country road trip.

But just because Lexus splurged on their features, doesn’t mean the GS is going to cost you an absurd amount of money. Nope, this car is available for a little over $13,000! I bet you never thought you could be riding in Lexus luxury at a price like that!
